Fenerbahce - Tofas Fenerbahce clinched the third straight BSL title. They fired past Tofas in Istanbul tonight to win the championship series The game without a history. Fenerbahce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Tofas' players. Center Ahmet Duverioglu () stepped up and scored 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Greek point guard Konstantinos Sloukas () chipped in 6 points and 8 assists. American point guard Pierria Henry (, college: Charlotte) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Berkan Durmaz () scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Anadolu Efes took control of the game from the first minutes and never looked behind after. They had a lead after the first minutes and enjoyed a halftime advantage. Moreover Anadolu Efes won the third frame and closed the game with a rally. Errick McCollum (PG, college: Goshen) top-scored with 23 points, while Krunoslav Simon (F/G) tapped 19 points and 7 assists. Bryant Dunston (C) recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Tony Crocker (SF, college: Oklahoma) ended up with 11 points in the losing effort.

Fenerbahce - Banvit Fenerbahce conquered President's Cup title in Ankara beating Banvit today. Fenerbahce took control of the game in the first period and led after the first 10 minutes. Moreover they added a rally in the second frame for a comfortable 11 points halftime advantage. Fenerbahce posted a run in the third quarter, while Banvitspor closed the game with a narrow rally. Europe posted a rally in the start of the game, while the opponents replied with a run to tie the score at the halftime. It looked as if Europe would benefit from the game as they won the third period and led 10 points before the last stanza. Team Asia however erupted with a massive surge to seal the victory. &#;de NBA&#;de Lockout yaşanmasıyla birlikte Beşiktaş forması giyen Amerikalı yıldız oyun kurucu Deron Williams&#;ın giydiği 8 numaralı forma 5 yıl önce tam da bugün emekli edilmişti.

Siyah-Beyazlı takım basketbolda yaptığı bazı transferlerle belki de futbolda hiçbir zaman ulaşamayacağı bir zirveye çıkmayı başardı. NBA efsanelerinden Allen Iverson ve şu anda Dallas Mavericks forması giyen Deron Williams Beşiktaş&#;ın ismini bütün dünyaya duyuran transferler oldular.

İki yıldızın da Beşiktaş&#;a gelişlerinin ana sebebi para değildi. Iverson da Williams da farklı sebeplerden ve gelişmelerden ötürü İstanbul&#;a basketbol oynamak için geldiler. Deron Williams da NBA&#;de basketbolsuz geçecek ve ne kadar süreceği belli olmayan bir dönemde önemli bir karar alarak Avrupa&#;ya gelirken tercihi Beşiktaş oldu.

Deron Williams lockout sorunun çözülmesi sonrası kısa süre içerisinde NBA&#;e dönmek durumunda kaldı ancak Beşiktaş formasını giydiği süreçte ortaya koyduğu basketbolla tüm basketbolseverlerin takdirini kazandı.

sezonunda ligde 7 maçta oynayan Deron Williams, sayı ve asist ortalamalarını tutturdu. Fenerbahçe&#;ye karşı oynanan maçta 25 sayı, 5 asist ve 5 ribaund performansıyla bir NBA yıldızı olduğunu Türk basketbol severlere de göstermişti. Ancak Williams&#;ın en unutulmaz Beşiktaş performansları arka arkaya iki FIBA EuroChallenge maçında geldi. Önce Armia takımına karşı 31 sayıya ulaşan Deron Williams, Gottingen ile oynanan maçta 10&#;da 7 üçlükle toplamda 50 sayıya ulaşarak Akatlar Arena&#;yı dolduran taraftarları adeta mest etmişti. Ayrıca FIBA EuroChallenge Kupası tarihinin de 50 sayıya ulaşan ilk oyuncusu oldu.

Beşiktaş Kulübü de tarihine geçen önemli bir ismi en iyi şekilde onurlandırarak 29 Kasım &#;de formasını emekli etti ve Akatlar Arena&#;nın çatısına astı.
